| Another Parallels Question | 16 Jan 2007 23:44 GMT | 2 |
When I installed Parallels on my Mac Mini I gave it 8gb of disc. It eventually began to complain that there wasn't enough free space. No problem, I thought, the disc is supposed to expand, so I ran the tool supplied and put the disc space up to 12gb.

| AppleTalk Printer Not Showing Up | 16 Jan 2007 22:51 GMT | 3 |
We have an Apple LaserWriter Pro 630 Printer connected to our home network via an Asanté Friendlynet adapter. A Cat5 cable attaches this to a hub, which in turn, is connected to our Airport (Original [802.11b], Graphite). This, of course, sets up the printer as an

| Airport Computer-to-Computer Networks | 16 Jan 2007 22:20 GMT | 1 |
Where I work, my MacbookPro finds a network listed under "Computer-to-Computer Networks" called "Free Public WiFi." I'm told that this is just a nearby connection that we can use. My Mac tells me that I'm connected, but I don't know how to make use of this. I don't

I have an iPod Shuffle & a new Nano. I installed and use the Shuffle with no problems. Last night, I hooked up the Nano. My Dell sees the Nano at first, but then it gives me an error message that the "G:\ drive is not available"... this is the Nano's drive. Furthermore, the

I joined this group as a longtime Mac user. I have lots of e-mail I'd like to recover from an old PowerBook - no USB, CD burner, only a floppy drive. How can I transfer lots of e-mail from that machine onto an iBook G3?

| Nondestructive Repartitioning | 16 Jan 2007 13:48 GMT | 6 |
Same old question looking for a new answer. Has anyone new come up with decent repartitioning software which doesn't necessarily require a reinstall of all data? I tried one a year or so ago, Prosoft's Drive Genius, and wasn't happy with the results, so I'm looking for a new

| Harddisk-Airport Extreme-MBP-Airport Express-AirTunes? | 16 Jan 2007 09:14 GMT | 1 |
We have our music collection on an external hard drive. Our dream setup would be to play it on our stereo while controlling it *wirelessly* from our MBPs. We already have an AirPort Express (with AirTunes), so there are no cables from the computer to the stereo, but a physical ...
