I'm trying to print over the network to a Canon Pixma MP600 through a
Windows XP machine, but so far, I've had no luck.
I hooked up the printer to my MacBook Pro via USB and it works fine. In
the "Printer List", it lists the "Printer Model" correctly, and

Is there a free app that allows one to shrink a DVD?  I want to take the
main movie and shrink it so it fits on a 4.7 gb DVD.  So I'm probably
looking at about 20-40%.

Sorry if this is a stupid question or is in the wrong group!
I have an ftp site that can be logged onto from PC's, and uploaded to,
using IE but when I (and other people) try and upload to it from a MAC

iCal started crashing on a friend's PowerBook G4 last week.  So far as I
know, she's running 10.4.9.  She removed the prefs file, but that didn't
help.  I suggested that she try removing the other three ical-related
prefs files.
