| So does anyone prefer Pathfinder to the Finder? | 23 Jan 2007 14:37 GMT | 8 |

| Resizing window | 23 Jan 2007 13:27 GMT | 6 |
I'm always inadvertently increasing the size of my open window to where the lower right "draggable edge" moves out of sight. The only way I've been able to re-size it again is to change the monitor resolution, resize the window, and then change my monitor

Last night I put my 10.4.8 PowerPC G5 iMac to sleep and this morning my audio output is disabled. I've gone into my Sound control panel and it says the selected device has no output controls (not sure if it said that prior to?) The Audio MIDI setup won't let me slide the volume,

| OSX home security system recommendations? | 23 Jan 2007 00:31 GMT | 4 |
We are running a MacPro tower (2x3.0ghz, 4gb ram) and want to add some form of IP security camera to monitor the front of the house. A friend of mine has a program that takes input from the camera and allows him to set up "hotspots" that trigger events (i.e. someone comes into the

We're considering getting a 17" MacBook Pro to allow using ArcGis, a heavy-duty PC application with lots of number crunching and disk access. We're concerned about the performance because of glitch noted in a PCMag review 11/2006

Last question(s) for tonight. Is there any difference between the disk image installers? The first package I installed, I dragged the package only within the install window, and it figured out what I meant. The next package did nothing
