How can I connect to a USB flash drive that is plugged into a remote server?
When I connect to the server (using afp from the Finder), the flash drive is

My wife and I have seven Macs on our home wireless network. Only two of

that I cannot empty-from-Trash the following file

With my DP 1.8 GHz (first version) PowerMac running Mac OS 10.4.8,
whenever I try to back up a 2.3 GB folder onto a DVD using either the
internal ATAPI Pioneer DVD-RW-106D drive, w. firmware = A606, or an
