I've run into a weird problem: my PowerPC Mac Mini's (OS X 10.4.8)
sound works fine in iTunes, but in Safari and Firefox, no sound plays.
It's all of the browser (not just the Flash Player). Also, while
viewing videos in QuickTime, no sound is heard either.

Using a bluetooth dongle yes or no ? My wireless mighty mouse is seen
with xp but it won't work so I guess the same with the wireless
keyboard ?

I am not able to SSH into my admin's Mac OS X server.  How would they
check if their server's SSH port is open?
If it is open, what are other methods of troubleshooting the problem?

I am a little puzzled by the posts about the difficulty
