I was never able to view wmv files and rec'd error ' mime type 2' msgs.
I purchased the Flip4Mac upgrade which promised to let me view and
download wmv files. Not happening and now all I see is the QuickTime
logo with a question mark in it.

I'm in an office environment and 3 of the 60 or so Macs on the network
have recently froze while on the screensaver.  For my own, I have the
screensaver set to cycle through my pictures.  When it was frozen it
would only cycle between two pictures.  I couldn't get the unlock

I would like to upgrade a Powerbook 1400, which currently has OS 8.5 on
it, to OS 8.6.  The computer is only being used for fairly simple tasks,
so getting a more recent computer isn't worthwhile at this point.

A friend of mine called me today from a place three hundred miles away.
I convinced him to buy a Mac many years ago and he bought a PowerMac
6100. I was there to help him. Then he moved to Elko and bought an

I just purchased the 2.66 GHZ Mac Pro.  What a fine machine it is, very
fast.  However, I was unable to get an Airport card for it as they have
not received them at the local Apple store and they had no information

Can someone put me straight on OSX and fonts?
I cannot get any of my system 9.2.2 Type 1 postscript fonts to work in
OSX. If I load them into the user library or the system library or any
number of other poxy libraries, they will not appear in the application
