Hi, i'm trying to transfer some files from my g4 (10.3.9) with 2 hard
drives (1  40g the 200g, both internal) to a new macbook. I've tried
migration on the macbook with no luck, it just locks up when reading

Does anyone know how to merge two iTunes libraries into one without
losing playlists, play counts, ratings, etc? I just got married and
we'd like to consolidate our two libraries into one. Also, does this
immediatly get rid of duplicate songs?  I'm using iTunes with Windows

The artwork shows on my music files in iTunes, but somehow the sync
doesn't know that the artwork has changed... So what do I do?  Delete
all the music off of the iPod and copy them back again?

I do not have a mac but receive mails from mac users and some mails
have attachments which seem to be complete jiberish as they need a
binhex 4.0 decoder to decode them. I use a PC
and was wondering where or if such a decoder exists?

Hi, I'm trying to help someone remotely who's machine has just stopped
printing.  In Quark he gets "cannot open printer [64]" and in Outlook it
says "The print dialogue box cannot be displayed".  In Internet Explorer it
says "Internet explorer is unable to print this document. ...

I updated to iTunes 7.0 and lost song files whose names begin with a
single quote ['], an open parenthesis [(], a number symbol [#], and--who
knows--maybe others.
I'm really, really upset. Anybody know how to get these files back? I

I'm experiencing a very strange icon-bar cache corruption problem. On a
seemingly regular basis, one of the icons in my Finder's sidebar gets
"smooshed together" with another icon: this ends up looking like two
icons overlayed, or sometimes a garbled icon.

I am running MacOS 10.2.6.  I changed my uid via the ni application (I
forget the exact name of the program. )   I changed all the uid's in
the file system via:
 find / -user 501 -print -exec chown 1000 {} \;

New to me: my MBP runs just fine without a battery. Old news to many,
perhaps, but after experiencing some problems with the original battery,
which I soon discovered was on exchange from Apple. I had to call tech
support due to a flukey page on Apple's battery exchange site, but ...
