Hi.  I don't have a Mac (I have Windows and Linux, but can't really
afford Macintosh).  I'm trying to get a file to my friend (not a big
computer guy).  It is a large m4a that I can't send through email, so I
posted it on a website.  I can download it and it plays just fine on

to bring them in line with my iBook?  Shoud I wait for Leopard?

I've been searching  the web for an answer to the iTUNES (WINDOWS XP)

not a Windows XP group, had the only reference to this problem I could
find.  Is there anyone who can either help or refer me to the
Executing bash scripts by double-clicking20 Sep 2006 16:18 GMT5
I'm trying to execute a bash shell script by double-clicking on the
file. I've made sure that it's executable (chmod 777), and I've tried
appending ".command" to the end of the file.
When it's script.command, when I double-click, the script is opened up

Spotlight has stopped working. I tried mdutil and it returns either
"Could not set indexing status for volume" or "Error, no index found

Spotlight; it simply refuses to add them. Attempting to search with

I've had this problem turn up twice lately, first on an Epson AIO

sent off, but stalls. The Dock icon shows a red (!) flag and the print
queue has been stopped. Clicking on the Start Jobs kicks everything into ...

OK, I'm finished with these infernal Mighty Mice and their lame
