There have been a great number of "switchers" lately, I've noticed.  A
recent visit to the Apple store for a hardware check--- 2 PM weekday---
was an eye opener.  The store was packed with people.  They were leaving
with all kinds of boxes too.  It was so exciting that I nearly ...

I decided to post this informational note because, evidently, Trojans
making use of this vulnerability/exploit in Mac OS X have been making
their way onto a few people's computers.

modifier keys. The computer instantly turned itself off, as if somebody
pulled the plug, or hit that little round button on the back. ...

Q: Installing Tiger on an iMac24 Aug 2006 05:09 GMT13
Ok, my in-laws just bought a MacBook Pro. They have an iMac (OS 10.2.x)
that they gave to their son. He wanted Tiger so he tried to install the
MacBook Pro version onto the iMac. No surprises, it didn't work. So,
after they got the disk out and rebooted, all was well with the iMac.

capabillity in its Sata drives?  For those of you tired of waiting for
your large pictures to copy over it would make sense to use the fastest
interface commonly available but only if its hot swappable.
