All of sudden when I hit the - button the window SLOOWWWLLLYY
OOOOOZZEESS down into the dock in a rather maddening manor. What did I
reset by mistake and how do I fix it?

In my users preference folder I have a whole bunch of weirdly named
folders that all appear to be empty. The names are symbols like the

After supervising Mac users for 10 years I Finally broke down and
bought myself my first Mac. A Macbook pro 15". I have successfully
moved all of my music from the PC itunes to Mac itune and now what I
want to do is set it up so that my wife and I are seeing the same music

Is there a way to startup automatically from an external drive, apart
from holding down the option key and then selecting the desired drive,

I might have just found an odd little bug is OS-X.

A Colleague's AppleWorks (MACOSX 10.4.7, Appleworks 6.2.7) has developed
a mysterious and destructibe bug.  Files can be opened and read... but
any attempt to start typing extra text cases Appleworks to crash
immediately.

Is Bonjour a free download for MAC OS X as it is for Windows?

I have a PowerBook G4 that I would like to use (wirelessly) with the
Actiontec MI424WRBroadband router.
I am planning on getting the new Intel desk top as soon as they iron out most
of the bugs.
