I went to use my Mac today and I cannot type properly with my keyboard. I can only type in lower case. Any other keys, like the shift, control, option or apple do not work. Needless to say, I could not even start this message on my Mac since I could not type a @ to sign in!

Safari's ability to resume downloads is a lifesaver for me to download the 10.4.7 update on dialup. After 5 MB or so, the speed had dropped 45%, so I redialed. For years I've noticed that sometimes a dialup connection will stay fast
