I am looking to buy an external network hard drive (i.e. Ethernet) that
I can plug into my router and be able to access on both Windows and my
new MacBook. Is there anyone that can reccomend a model? The Freecom

Hi all.  I am having trouble getting launchd to do what I want it to
do.  I would like to have a script run whenever there is a job added to

I'm new to the Mac OS and was trying to find a way to calculate the
number of files in a directory. I want a total including all files in
any subdirectories. In Windows, the directory properties dialog
includes this information by default but in Mac the "Get Info" option

...looks pretty sweet!
Soon as PS CS3 is out I'm buying one.

Photoshop CS JPEGs to just standard JPEGs readable by Preview?
I'd prefer using a shell command than doing Command-I all the time.

hi all. i have a HP Media center PC that i am trying to use to convert my
family movies to DVD. To say the least it is not going well, and i may
