Hey folks. Just trying to figure out what you can actually do to extend your iMac as far as RAM, HDs, CPU, etc. Can you have more than one hard drive with an iMac? Can you change the CPU? How much RAM can you install? Stuff like that. Thanks.

I'm trying to use a MV830 as a webcam but the thing keeps on shutting off. It has some sort of auto power save. I don't want to have a tape in it when I'm using it as a webcam. Is there any way of disabling this irritating feature? Nothing seems to be applicable in the Menus.

After I recently upgraded from OSX 10.3 to 10.4, I tried using "atlookup" in the terminal, as I did in 10.3, to configure an appletalk printer. But I get a "no such command" response.

Running on 10.3.9 here. Many moons ago I upgraded QuickTime to QuickTime Pro. I have deliberately avoided upgrading QuickTime since V7 came out, since I understand I'd need to buy the upgrade to the Pro version again.

I am using the latest version of Tiger on my dual (MDD) 1.25 G4 with 1.5 GB of RAM. This problem started recently but I can't determine when it started as I do not use Spotlight or Command-F every day. Out of habit (from the early days of Mac OS) I use the Command-F option
