I split my disk in 2 partitions, 10 gigs each. I installed a linux distro on one of those partitions. Now I erased Linux and the MacOs disk related apps can NOT reformat those 10 gigs.

I've been using Path Finder (on Powerbook G4/Tiger) since mid-April without problems, but after Apple's most recent software upgrade, now Path Finder crashes my system. (I have now repeatably isolated this horrible problem to Path Finder.)

I've just installed Parallels Desktop on my new Mac Mini running 10.4.6. Every time I start up the virtual machine I get a message to say that something has been disabled by firmware, and will have to be emulated in software.
