Help.
I have an eMac.  G4/800.  Currently running 10.4.3.  I want to upgrade
to 10.4.7.  
I downloaded this file from apple:   MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.7PPC.dmg

I'd like to use the Mail.app to check my yahoo, gmail, and other
accounts. The delima is that pop access is being blocked. So I thought,

How weird
if you rotate a photo (from landscape to portrait) preview can save it,
but all other photoviewers see the photo the wrong way round.. but
preview knows the correct orientation

Well, I want to clear the clutter from my bedroom from now on.. by
scanning in important documents (.e.g hospital letters etc) and saving
them as PDFs (making regular backups!!!)
But what should I save it to - is 200dpi in colour enough

In using iMovie and iDVD with associated VOB to QT utilities, iTunes
and iPhotod, over a 4 weeks peiod, operation  slows down considerably.
Irrespercrive of the cause, I reload my external HD with SYSTEM, NOT
keeping Preferences etc. This also rids me of unwanted Photos and audio

Seems better, faster,  AFP connections are again more reliable to make

I'm having a heck of a time getting unicode codes/special characters to
work in chat rooms.  I occasionally need a special character (a musical

I was wondering if anybody knows what the legailty of using software
logos on a company website. I am building our new company website. I
would like to put that software logo image on the site so customers

I'm running 10.4.5 on a dual-2GHz PowerPC G5.
I leave it running all the time, with the screensaver set to require a

I just can't make mail.app work right with gmail + pop.
It was working  fine until a few days ago. Now it starts to dowload the
messages (authenticates fine, downloads most of the messages fine) but
on the last message it just freezes.
