I just switched from DSL to Comcast internet service. All worked fine

I have a FireLite 40 GB Firewire external HD (a "pocket drive") that I
use for SuperDuper! backups, connecting it for a backup every few days,
then disconnecting it.
When I reconnected it a few days ago, its icon had changed to an icon I

Can I install any IDE DVD-ROM or DVD burner I have for my PC to a
PowerMac G4/533, or do I need to use certain models?

Hi, i'm new in the group, i'm a student and i like to see movies on mac
but no Divx player i have can read subtitles. I have: Mplayer, VLC and
Divx Demo. Do you know any good program that reads subtitles for mac?

Has anyone ever heard of the fan or heatsink being upgraded in either
the PPC or Intel Mini?  The heatsink in the PPC Mini is ridiculously
tiny. And the fan is absurd.  Some whining 2" monstrosity that would be
lucky to cool a vga card let alone a cpu.  Now that its summer, ...
