I have an old iBook.
Before I sell it I want to copy stuff to DVDr. I don't want to delete
it incase I need it at some point in the future

Is it possible to remotly install new intel macosx on machine without
cdrom?

Hi. I have about 15,000 items or more to empty from trash.
I get a million messages saying this file is locked etc. etc. and I
keep clicking 'continue' (you can press 'stop' or 'continue')

i have a g7-700 imac running osX 10.2.3.
cursor turns multicolored pinwheel frequently and i cannot continue working.
i've run yasu on it, and it appeared to speed up things, but this problem
has persisted.  any suggestions?

I have been unsuccessful in trying to print to a printer connected on a
Mac.  (The printer works fine on the Mac itself.)  I'm trying to print
from a Windows 98 machine.  The Windows machine doesn't list the printer
in the Network Neighborhood but I am able to successfully connect ...

I have a home-made font that works fine in OS9, but when I use it in
OSX two of the original characters print as euro sign and apple.  And
there are four others that misbehave.  Does anyone know how I can get
the font to display and print as it used to?

I am trying to use Terminal's "pdisk" utility in order to find my exact
partition locations and sizes.
(in terms of 512-byte blocks)
No joy, for some reason I can't get pdisk to cooperate with me.

Hey, I lost the ability to print on my stylewriter from my G3 desktop
when i upgraded it to 9.2.1. Anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to make
my prefs in the chooser stick. The mac gives me some "can't find
printer, check to see if it's plugged in and check chooser" message.

I'm running 10.4.6 on a Quicksilver 867 as an auxiliary computer, mainly
to control certain things going on in my house (music playing, etc.). It

converter utility (I assume it is a dashboard thing) visible ...
