In W!ndows I can open any file or folder with Explorer just by selcting
the file(s) and pressing enter.  Is there a simple key for this on a
Mac, too?

I have  a G5 Mac currently running under Mac OSX v10.3.9.  I plan to switch
to 10.4 soon, but I'm a little confused about one point.  One authorized
reseller is advertising both 10.4.3 and 10.4.6, for the same price.  (Also,
they advertise one iMac for sale, supplied with 10.4.4.)

I am running the latest version of Airtunes on a Windows PC, and have 2
Airport Express units (also running the latest firmware), so that Airtunes
can feed audio to both AE's simultaneously.  However, when I go to multiple
speakers, and select either or both of the AE's the PC ...

In OS X one can conrol-click on a document icon and then select "Open With"
which produces a list of applications that can open the document. Frequently

Pismo, OS 10.4.6.  Starting yesterday, my 'w' key doesn't work (in terminal).
It just does nothing.  If I preface it with <ESC>, it either works or works
the second time I hit it.

Hi, I recently posted a request for help with pop email access and

I have a classroom full of Mac mini's with OS 10.4.  I created a master
machine with multiple users and one of which is a managed user.  I
setup the master and imaged all the rest of the macs.  On the master
Mac I am able to login as the managed user and launch and OS 9

I keep getting an installer error when I'm installing the LaCie Disc
Recorder software.  I tried to version 1.19 that came with my DVD
writer, and also the new version 1.23 that I found on the LaCie
website.  I tried a restart to no avail.
