A colleague's mac came under a sustained hacking
attempt last week.  Over 5000 attempted logins
via ssh for a variety of guessed usernames (including
lots at root).  The hack was apparently eventually

The   _only_  reason I still have one dusty PC around is to run one
application that needs USB microphone input, namely the $700 dictation
app' named "Dragon NaturallSpeaking Pro".
Anyone know if BootCamp can "see" the Mac microphone when running

I have a 12 inch Powerbook that is serving me well!  It's about time to
get a bluetooth mouse to use with it.  I was looking at the Apple
bluetooth mouse and although it looks great I don't think that it meets
my requirements!

I can't seem to get this right. I usually hide all but the frontmost app.
But, too often I then want them all to show. There is a menu item under the

Is it possible to use Finder in Column View and have the width auto size
