I have three Mac OSX workstations in the graphics dept in an otherwise
Microsoft shop.  These guys litter all network shares with ".DS_Store"
files and "._filename" files.  I have already tried the "defaults
write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true" command

Maybe Im being a bit thick here but can the new Macbook do dual video out.
For example in powerpoint you can have your slides on the external screen
and the presenters tools on the laptop screen.  Macbook pros do this but the
spec for the macbook say extended desktop and video ...

Sometime back I installed QuickImageCM which augments the Get Info choices
