...erm this friend I have was wondering how he might get hold of a low-cost, i mean VERY low-cost version of adobe photoshop for mac, any ideas? He said something about Limewire not having any or something like that.

I'm totally baffled, and would MUCH appreciate some advice on this one! Setup: Macmini as server, with five big HDs, a couple of laser printers and connection to AirPort Extreme. PowerBook and iBook connect to disks and printers through WiFi. (Macmini has 10.4.6 and 1 gig).

Running Thunderbird 1.5 Don't know whether I did something or whether it's just buggy. One to five minutes after startup on a newsgroup, it's "Application Not Responding" and I have to kill it.

Can I run a Unix executable without launching Terminal? If so, how? For my purposes, I don't need stdin, stdout, or stderr, so it's OK if they all get redirected from/to /dev/null. The best solution I have found so far is a freeware application called
