I'm migrating from G4(Gigabit Ethernet) to new intel iMac using
migration assistant and target disk mode. The problem is that during
the migration of my documents, TDM freezes on the host -- the bouncing
firewall logo stops bouncing. It always freezes in relatively the same

I'm looking for software that is the equivalent of a printed world
atlas. Type in the name of a country or continent or city and get a map
of the area. I don't need satellite images (like Google earth) - just
an old-fashioned map with bounderies, rivers, and so on.

I'm a Mac consultant, trying to help a client. He has a PowerMac G4,
with two internal hard drives (installed when he purchased the Mac),
running Panther (one drive isn't formatted). Everything was fine until

Just today I noticed a new icon that appears on the top of ever folder.
Just next to the icon with the little cog wheel and down arrow is a
large question mark.
It appears on folders on my PowerBook G4's internal drive, on a firewire

Printing images and documents worked just fine under OS 9.2.1, but since
I updated to 9.2.2, I can't get the system or HP PrintMonitor to see the
same printer I've been using for a long time.

Just got one of the new imacs. I'm trying to make the mac see and use
the shared printer on the windows xp workgroup.
I've got as far as finding the network printer in the imac's default
printer list, but now I can't find the right driver to choose for it.
