I have an imac on which somebody has loaded OSX without running the firmware update first and the graphics do not display properly. I understand I need to run the update under OS9 or OS8.6+. I have downloaded 9.0 and 9.2 which is in multiple files.

Is it possable to install Tiger (DVD disk) on a iBook (G3/500/192/10/CD Drive) using my Powerbooks DVD drive linked to the iBook via Ethernet?. Or can I copy the DVD and burn on bootable CD's using Toast 6?.

I am using OS X 10.4.5 and Safari 2.0.3. For a number of months I've been having problems printing web pages directly from Safari. Usually what happens is that the printer shoots out a blank page (or two) to sart, and then prints only the top 3/4 quarters of the web page

I'm using Panther, 10.3.9. I haven't yet figured out how to move something from junk directly "out", so I don't have to go to trash and empty the trash to get rid of the 'trashed' junk I don't want. Junk is handy but I'd like to be able to bypass trash, if possible.
