Help! When I creat a slideshow via Iphoto, I get nice and clear (crisp)
images when I preview it via IPhoto. However, when I export it, it
makes a quicktime version and the images are not as crisp (little too
soft for me). Also when I send it to IDvd, it does the same thing after

I just saw that 10.4.6 is available. I downloaded it onto my two Macs

My Desktop no longer appears as a viewable folder within my home folder
in the Finder. (It shows up when I click the Desktop icon on the
left-hand of the Finder window without problem).

When I hit an arrow key in insert mode with the system installed vim
6.2, it works correctly. When I do the same with the fink-installed vim
6.3, it seems to be typing some elaborate sequence (that doesn't work).
Any ideas what I'm missing to make fink's vim behave?

I'm starting to get some mysterious crashes and other behavior on my
machine.  I'd like to test for bad RAM.  How would I go about doing

I am using a PC keyboard that has extra keys such as a "calculator" and
"new mail message" key etc.  I would like to be able to press these
