My wife bought a G3 ibook in 2002 and it did her well, I even ran over
it on my bike on accident and it kept plugging away.  The logic board
did go bad on it and was replaced under warranty but now it has a new

I have been an Apple guy since 1985 or so and The Apple IIe.
Now my problem is this:

I have a 2001 867MHZ Quicksilver powermac g4 that originally came with a
Pioneer DVR-103 superdrive.  The drive went bad and I replaced it in
2004 with a DVR-106 drive from QWC and last week it stopped working so,

I have an imac 333 with a 6gb hdd that is failing and need to save some
files that are on it, My other comp is a pc does anyone know of some
software  that will let me take the mac disk and put it in the pc to

Why can't I see how many files/sub-folders is contained within the

just got an iPod Photo.  I tend to listen to very long mp3 recordings of
various radio shows.  Each file can be 4 hours long.  I *need* to be able
to set bookmarks, but the only reference I found on Apple's site related
to bookmarking audiobooks.
