Hi all, I have a 200 gig external harddrive that was originally
formatted for NTFS.  However, now I would like to be able to use my Mac
(OS X Tiger) to read AND write to it.  So I've decided to
reformat/repartition it so I can use it in that way.

Looks like someone's done it.

I first partitioned my HD when I had OS 7.6.  It helped keep my
system folder from being corrupted.  
Now I'm about to get a Mac Mini with OS 10.4.  Should I partition
its disk?

I am looking for information on burning a CD from an iTunes playlist
where the songs are separated on the CD into folders rather than just
one long 100+ song playlist.
I've done it a few times, but it seems almost arbitrary when it works.

I have a hell of a problem: my root volume's icon does not appear on
