I am a newcomer to the Mac. I am using a G5 iMac and need to start a game at a level later than the normal start level. The game is Diablo2"Lord of Destruction". Using a Windows PC under XP I could start the game at this level by adding to the start command "-act5"

I have a dual 867 MHz Power PC running OS 10.4.5. I am not sure what's going on, I don't seem to have any files indexed by Spotlight at all. If I do a Spotlight search for anything at all, nothing comes up. Can someone give me a hint regarding why nothing is being indexed?

| How can I avoid sending PS fonts to my Postscript printer | 26 Mar 2006 05:51 GMT | 3 |
I would like to avoid sending the font information for built-in fonts like Times-Roman to my printer. Partly this saves slightly on printing time (OK maybe that is insignificant) and partly because I want to use the printer's good ideas on how to render the font.

| Clock not retaining time | 26 Mar 2006 05:49 GMT | 11 |
The system clock on my iMac (350Mhz G3 Slotloader) has started forgetting the date and time. It has to be reset every time the machine is turned on, (a nuisance, but easily doable), otherwise it thinks it's 12 am on 1 January 1904.
