All,
When I travel I generally connect to the internet at a hotel via
wireless.  Unfortunately I will shortly be staying in a hotel that only
has Ethernet access.  I am not sure how to go about using a wired

I am a newcomer to the Mac.  I am using a G5 iMac and need to start a
game at a level later than the normal start level.
The game is Diablo2"Lord of Destruction".  Using a Windows PC under XP I
could start the game at this level by adding to the start command "-act5"

The logic board on my iBook was replaced last week, and now iTunes
thinks I have a new Mac. I had to authorize it again to play my
purchased music. Now it tells me that I have three computers

I have a dual 867 MHz Power PC running OS 10.4.5. I am not sure what's
going on, I don't seem to have any files indexed by Spotlight at all.
If I do a Spotlight search for anything at all, nothing comes up. Can
someone give me a hint regarding why nothing is being indexed?

My phone modem is bad, would this affect connecting by ethernet cable?

The OnyX utility now has the ability to turn on a Debug menu in Disk

I would like to avoid sending the font information for built-in fonts
like Times-Roman to my printer. Partly this saves slightly on printing
time (OK maybe that is insignificant) and partly because I want to use
the printer's good ideas on how to render the font.

The system clock on my iMac (350Mhz G3 Slotloader) has started forgetting
the date and time. It has to be reset every time the machine is turned on,
(a nuisance, but easily doable), otherwise it thinks it's 12 am on 1
January 1904.

Can you add system 9 on an Intel iMac to run old programs?  I am aware
that it will not boot but was not sure about the first part.
