I have a Deskjet 980C which I am now running under OS 10.4.4. The driver seems to be Apple's version 4.0 (157). In Panther I had no trouble printing. (but I may have been using HP's own driver, I am not sure). Now I find that I have no trouble printing from some programs.

My Powerbook G4 12" 886 MHz had been actualized to OS X 10.4.5 an hour ago. I had two tries to boot. The Screen saying OS X booting did not disappear after 20 Minutes (from appearance to stop resp. reboot) I reinstalled 10.4.4 - this works sufficiently

I use MenuMeters to display my processor performance in my menu bar. It breaks down processor usage into three categories: System, User and Nice. Particularly after I backup to my Firewire drive, the Nice process uses a lot of the processor. What is Nicing?

I had OS 10.3 insalled on my computer and It didn't have a classic option that I needed. So I read some directions and installed OS9 on the same partition. now I can only boot to OS9..Suggestions? Thanks!

New Intel iMac. Running iMovie v6.0. Just captured a 3.5 minute video from camcorder. Chose to "save as" "Tuesday" and little pinwheel has been spinning for 20 minutes now. How do you end an errant program? I have to believe something is amiss when an earlier 15 minute capture

I need help , where do I find and how do I save the updates to OSX 10.4.5 so I can re-use them if I do a re-install with out having to down load all thes updates again. I have had a look in the installed updates and there is a lot I would like to put them on CD or DVD.

Installed 10.4.5 update and it killed the mail application. Repaired permissions, repaired directory with DiskWarrior, mail still dead ('quits unexpectedly' when starting).
