I'm starting to think about picking up a 17" iMac to replace my 2x800MHz G4

I bought a Blue & White G3 which is running System 9.0. I'm trying to
upgrade to Panther, but when I restart using the install disk, I get an
error message which says "You must restart your computer." If I restart
I get the same error message again.

Ever since I upgraded from OSX 10.2 to Tiger the other day, I've been
unable to use Spotlight. There is a Spotlight icon that blinks very

Hi all, this is a really basic question concerning fast user switching.

Just wondering what my options are for an email client on Mac OS X.
We've been using Office 2004 (pointed to an Exchange Server) for
about a year now and have had serious issues with the application.

I had to reinstall OS X and forgot to backup Office X. I tried
reinstalling it, but the product key doesn't work anymore. Can I still
install this, or do I need to buy office again?
