Back when I had a Mac Quadra (I think I ran MacOS 8.1 on it) I stored
my files (images, text files etc.) to several CD-Rs, and I thought it
would be no problem transferring all that data to my Powerbook G4
(currently running MacOS 10.4.5), but although at first it *seems* like

Every once in a while Xcode starts itself and completely soaks up the
CPU. It is maxed out until I manually kill it. What is the deal?

This problem puzzled me for a while.
I have a ipod photo. It has about 9 podcast in it. I update them
frequently and set it up so that there is only the most recent episode
for each podcast at any time.

I'm in the process of updating several computers to 10.3.9 but, looking
at the Apple Downloads page, I'm a bit confused about which iTunes and

I'm running 10.3.9 on a 20" 1.25 iMac G4 and just purchased two LaCie
250MB USB drives. I'm trying to run a RAID mirror, but anytime I try to
copy a file(s) *from* the mirror, it breaks with the following message

I recently posted a thread because I've been having problems with
iTunes mixing up the ordering of tracks when importing. I've discovered
(I think) that it's because I was importing several CDs with the same
album name.
