I have setup five iMacs (2 G4s and 3 G5s) at five different locations.  
All systems have 10.4.4 installed, iSight cameras, and cable Internet
service with routers.  All iMacs can audio/video conference successfully
with each other through iChatAV except that the two G4 iMacs ...

We tried it today, and it worked like a charm.  Much easier than

I have an iMac G3 with the airport card installed.
Should I be able to connect to a Cisco Wireless Access Point? All of my
Windows systems can see the AP, but it doesn't appear on the Apple.

After I had my powerbook connected to my G4 via firewire so I could use
target disk mode to transfer some files I noticed that firewire is
listed, under network prefs, as a possible means of connecting to the

I followed a suggestion on this group and tried to rebuild my mailbox
that kept giving me the message that "mail has not been downloaded from
the server. Please go online to read mail." The rebuild erased all of

I am trying to repair permissions on my boot drive on an ibook 800 mhrz g4
running 10.3.9 build 7w98  mem 640MB
the progress bar moves to about 1/3 done and I get the above message
consistantly at what seems the same place.
