I recently installed 'Sync2it', a Macintosh program that purports to
synchronize bookmarks over multiple browsers (I run a PowerBook G4 with
the latest Tiger OS). Unfortunately it seems to have 'synched' my
Firefox with my Safari by updating Firefox and deleting all my Safari

Is there anywhere that I can get or download Mac OS 7.1?
Because i have and old B\W mac Classic 2 and i need to reinstall it
because something is missing (i got the mac classic 2 from a friend and
he didn't have the install floppy disks anymore)

What is the best free task/to-to list manager? Anything multiplatform?
I'm a writer, so I just want to track item, pay, due date, etc and maybe
even do a little chart showing how much I will be owed for a month, or total
hours worked in a month. Enterouge is not the best program ...

I have a customer that is using a Mac, and has downloaded a database
that is pipe delimited.  She is trying to import it into Excel, but
cannot find the pipe on her keyboard. It is not where it is on the IBM
keyboard, and I can find no keyboard layouts on the Apple site.

MAC OS 10.4.5 here.  I want to copy a DVD.  When I put DVD it
automatically loads and starts operating.  How do I prevent this?  I
want it only to show up on my finder so I can copy it to my hd and then
to a blank DVD.  Of course if there is a short cut to bypass copyng it

If I create a disk image with hdiutil e.g.
