I have an eMac that I'm trying to setup for my kids to play some educational games. And rather than have have them constantly swapping (i.e. scratching) CDs, I'd like to just burn them to ISO images and somehow mount them permanently. I've gotten as far as to mount the ISOs

I am not sure what I may have did. But recently when I finish downloading a .mp3, or a .wmv/.mov file. It automatically loads up the application and starts playing the file. How do I stop this from happening?
