I have an eMac that I'm trying to setup for my kids to play some
educational games. And rather than have have them constantly swapping
(i.e. scratching) CDs, I'd like to just burn them to ISO images and
somehow mount them permanently. I've gotten as far as to mount the ISOs

I have an iMac G5 and an Epson 740 printer.  I have Tiger 10.4.3 on one
partition and 10.3.8 on an external FW drive.  The printer works fine in
Panther.  Tiger has all jobs stopped in the color stylus 740 panel.
When I try to turn on the start jobs icon, I get a barber pole for a ...

AFP file viewer28 Jan 2006 19:50 GMT4
This is not about "Apple File Protocol" (and the unfortunate acronym
collision has made searching web quite difficult).
I need to view some files that are being made available over the web in
'afp' format. It appears to stand for "Advanced Function Printing"
Benefit of AFP over SMB? (AFP slow?)28 Jan 2006 19:47 GMT3
I was playing around with both and found that when playing a video over an
Apple share the video would freeze every few seconds before continuing
again. The same video played from a Windows machine over SMB worked fine.
The network is exactly the same on both. Yes, the AFP source ...

Troubleshooting audio: G4, 10.3.928 Jan 2006 11:46 GMT2
I am fighting multiple crashes when animating with an audio track in Blender3D.
This now occurs in 2.4alpha2, 2.40 and 2.41 (Mac 10.3.9, Py2.3 version)
If I undo bone movements it causes random ("temporary") freezes, audio
corruption and sometimes precedes a crash. I say "temporary" ...

I have a user that is experiencing a very slow opening when he double
