I'm adding a larger, faster drive to my machine to my MDD G4. I'd like to upgrade to Tiger (from Panther) at the same time. Can I just: Move the original drive to the ATA66 Bus Install the new drive on the ATA100 Bus

I'd like to make archive copies of the three Panther disks that came with my machine, and of the one Tiger disk. These are for personal backup only. Can Disk Utility copy these disks, or is there copy protection or a need for other software? Thanks,

I'm trying to run Limewire on OSX. It won't connect. The main window says "Connecting" forever, though the File menu says I'm connected. If I try to search for anything, I get a window telling me I'm not connected to the Net, which I am. I tried changing the port numbers in

First, VNC didn't work, so I reinstalled it. Then Photoshop 7 wouldn't come up. Couldn't reinstall it, as the installer crashes after I give it my key. Now Interarchie is failing to get listings for no apparent reason. There's nothing in its transcript. And CNN video can't ...

Hi, I got a Mac mini for christmas. Its my first Mac system, and I love it. However, I can't get it to read DVDs. It has a combo drive in it, and the disks are NTSC encoded movies, purchased from a store, not burned. It spins and tries to read, but won't. I can play CDs on it,

I have this problem both on my Powerbook G4 and my iMac G5. Quite often, I'll be typing away nice and fast, only to find that several words endd uup likke thhis with double letters in them. I then have to go back and correct each one.

Hi - i've got the new Toast 7 product..trying to burn avi to vcd - drop in the avi to video tab - vcd - green light - but the resulting vcd is full of 'sctatches' just like when satellite is out of sync - is this a codec problem or what??

I am looking a varus G4 models and the 133Mhzbus+ models state that there is no soft power video port for analog monitors. Does this mean that analog vga monitors can no longer be used with these G4 and G5 systems? Thanks.
