Hi group,
I have a PC connected (wired) to a modem ADSL Speedtouch multiport (4
ethernet ports). This computer is also wired to an external harddrive
(Western Digital, USB2) and to a printer (HP PSC 1315, all-in-one).
trying to get a cd to work on old performa 636cd29 Oct 2005 00:12 GMT2
i need to load a cd on this old machine; it won't recognize any cds i
burn on my g5.  the specs say that its cd drive is 2x.  does that mean
i have to use a cd that burns at 2x?  or do i need to consider somthing
else?  help would be very appreciated.

I am getting no audio with Windows Media player 9.0 or Real audio with
streamed or other video files ie BBC Click online's streams do not give

An oldtimer friend just got a good deal on a Mac, after having some

Why have Apple not implemented the Windows Media Player technology whereby
album art appears when a CD is played?
Anyone know of a reason why this is not part of iTunes yet? Apple seem a

Hi, my i have just bought a new laptop powerbook G4 with a Infrared
port and i have a oldder laptop 1400c powerBook running os 8.6 and it
has allso got a Infrared port but i don't have any software on the 8.6,

Apple seems to charge a premium for ordering additional memory with a
system. Is there any risk to using memory from an alternate vendor;
anything in particular to watch out for? Can someone recommend some web
