I’ve just upgraded to Word 2004 & discovered that "Find File" no
longer exists.  I found an old posting about this, but don’t
completely understand the replies.  They recommend using the Finder
Find function, but when I do this it takes Forever!  Even when I limit

OS X Server03 Oct 2005 14:09 GMT4
I have been trying to find some OS X specific newsgroups (specifically
OS X Server) but am having little luck.  I'm hoping to find someone who
is utilizing the Mail Services within OS X Server at a small or medium
business to see how their experience has gone with it.  We are ...

I have an irritation rather than a problem.
I'm running Jaguar and the software updater keeps asking if I want to
upgrade iPod software. I don't have one and don't plan to. Despite

I have a Compact Flash card that I want to format as FAT32. Is there
software on the Mac that can do it?
I'm using the PCMCIA slot on my PowerBook. My Digital Camera only
formats as FAT.

I would like to access the man pages for various programs in xterm, ssh

lost x1103 Oct 2005 03:37 GMT1
hello, for the first time in almost 2 y, my powerbook crashed this AM.
I had to reinstall some stuff. Now I can't see my x11, although x11sdk
is there (library/receipts). When I try to install x11usr.pkg, I am
told that i am not allowed to do that because newer software is already
Digital Camera Newbie03 Oct 2005 02:59 GMT3
I know absolutely nothing about digital cameras but I've been
considering buying a low-end digital camera that has to work with my
Panther 15"PB.  Most, is not all, product discriptions for lowend
cameras specify Windows as the only supported OS.  Question is, just
Finally giving up on learning "Public Key Authentication"   :(03 Oct 2005 01:43 GMT15
"Public Key Authentication" - - - PKA for short.
What is so great about it?

Tiger, QT, and MPEG-2 component03 Oct 2005 00:29 GMT1
