Anyone know if there's a driver for this? It doesn't need a driver for
photo transfer, it's the video/cam that I'd like to use. Possibly  a
generic driver to enable the 'pc cam' to work on a Mac? Not sure which
program I'd use it with, though - iChat uses firewire cameras/vids ...

I'm having real trouble getting my Mac Mini (10.4.2) to connect to my
Windows 2003 SBS machine. I've tried setting up Services for Mac, AppleTalk
and all that. But no matter what I try, when I go to Connect to Server, I
get an error 36 or "name or password is incorrect" with no ...

Is there any way to get Mac OS 8.6 to stop setting the type/creator of a
JPEG file on an ISO9660 CD to JPEG/ogle and get it to set it to
JPEG/GKON instead? I want to double click on the file and get
GraphicConverter to open it, not PictureViewer.

Recently I purchased an external hard drive. Since there were no
instructions as to what I could transfer to the external one and what
should remain on the internal one, I assumed that that could move both

Hello all. I have a G3 iBook (Panther) and a G4 Powerbook (Tiger), each
connected wirelessly to a Netgear router. All is fine. I also have an
Epson 870 which I love, but which is apparently not compatible with

Is there a reason why most installers let me install a new program
only on my Tower G5's teeny-weeny internal 80 Gig HD?
I have almost 4 Terabytes' worth of HD real estate in an external
FireWire multi-drive enclosure, but no dice - all the FireWire HD

Mac running OS 10.3.9.  Somehow I turned on something that now shows
invisable files (files that start with a period).  Can someone tell me
how do I turn that feature off?

I've been having problems with my (otherwise perfect) Tiger install
