i would like to sell an iMac G3 running on OS9. i want to simply delete all personal files and then save erase the empty space. is there a (freeware) tool available for that? i could also simply delete anything then copy some big file numerous times

Mt Mac ColorStylewriter 2500 won't print with my black only cartridge, works fine with a color cartridge. Also used to work with the black cartridge, so I suspect there is something in the settings that makes it demand a color cartridge - whatever it is, I can't find it.

I burned some files on a G4 dual 800 with a Fantom (firewire) DVD burner. Of course the DVD+R mounts with that drive, but when I try to use the same DVD+R in my G4/400 Sawtooth (circa 2000 model), it won't mount on the desktop. Do I need to replace the internal DVD drive on

Hi, I'm looking for the option of buring - Nero's DVD. It's version 7. I wish to burn many files in PC and use that DVD-ROM in Mac. I have bunch of project datasheet PDF files and image files. And one of my friend gave me his some *.dmg files. How can I choose buring option?

Yikes! I just started messing with AppleScript after a long hiatus. I turned on the system-wide menu and started poking around, only to discover that some apps (iTunes) will display their own Scripts menu in the menu bar.
