Why can't Quicktime Player just play all fraking AVIs already? I know
it's a container format, but it tends to be the same things. Divx.

I bought a Power Mac G5 when I turn it on it start the Apple LOGO
apeart and it STOP nothing elese happeng after 2 minuter the fans

I'm a new mac user with a PowerBook G4 with Tiger. When I starrtup my
computer, before the apple logo appears, a small blue folder icon
appears with a question mark on it. This began appearing after I
started running some apps using X11. Not sure if that caused it or not.

Aren't they merely the audio equivalent of blogs? And what of calling
them "podcasts"? Can't the files be played on your computer using your
preferred audio player?

I am auctioning off an Apple iMac on eBay.  The auction ends on October
16, 2005. It features:

· 400 MHz PowerPC 750 G3 processor

I have the clock displaying the time of day
in the menu bar.
On Windows, if you place the mouse over the clock in
the system tray, you get a balloon with the date.

I am a newbie with a new G5 iMac, so please make allowances if this is a
simple question.
When i got the iMac I transferred all of my backedup files, including
photos in jpeg format, to my home  folder.  All went well, except the

1. Am I able to download full length movies from DVD onto the new iPods
and watch them from there?
2. Is there a way of connecting the iPod into a TV and watching it from
a TV screen?

I recently upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4.2.  I have a Palm Zire PDA, the
black & white one with out a model number.  I used to sync it with my
Address Book and iCal info under 10.3.9 with no problem.
Since I upgraded to 10.4.2, I installed the required Palm Desktop software

My Epson Perfection 1200U (USB) no longer works after installing
Tiger.  I reinstalled the scanner software after installing Tiger, and
the scanner shows up in the Apple System Profiler, but the scanning
software claims that it is unable to communicate with the scanner.
