Can anyone recommend a good (hopefully freeware) program for editing MP3s? I am thinking of something like Exact Audio Copier, where you get a graphical display of the file and can then manipulate the file. I really need something that wil help me trim unwanted portions off

I have a bunch of parts for the Apple Laserwriter 16/600 such as: 1) Complete 16/600. Prints startup page just fine, but they flashes the paper-out light. I believe it is the exit sensor on the fuser, but have not been able to confirm this.

Under OSX, System Preferences lets me show the clock either in the menubar, or as a floating window. Can I put it into the Dock? I can maneuver the floating window so that it sits *on top of* the Dock, but it doesn't go INTO the dock.....

I'd like to continue using OS9 and OS 8.6 for my audio applications. However I'm increasingly finding that I need OSX for surfing. Are there any problems I might have if I just bought a second hard drive and installed OSX on it.

Anyone know how I replace the CPU on an LC 475? this is one of the old 68K machines.... 1993 vintage... Is it a ZIF socket of some sort? Or do I just shove a screwdriver under it and heave :-) ?
