What happens if I have more songs in my iTunes library than the iPod
nano has room for? Can I create a shuffle playlist like I've read the
iPod shuffle does? Or would the nano just load songs alphabetically
until its full? Or would it randomize on its own?

If so, which ones and how? And How do I add the address book to he
synch?

I am a newbie to Mac and don't really know how to fix this problem.  I
cannot get the Mac to connect to the router on my home network.  I am
using an old G3 desktop.
The router shows that the cable is not connected, but it is plugged

I have added on my site an installer which adds Greek monotonic/polytonic
keyboard functionality to MacOS 7-9.

I'm having real problems obtaining reliable operations using a
recently purchased Axis 5550 print server and a Mac os X 10.3 computer
within the "classic" environment (i.e. the legacy OS9 environment)

I have one of the AGP 500 MHz G4's that a friend gave to me. I
partitioned the 24GB drive into a 3GB section for OS 9, which I tried
to install off of an old system disk, but it kept failing, so I ended
up adding a slave drive from an old G3 I had that had OS 9 already on

Where to find a proper (Panther) driver for a Lexmark X5150 (all-in-one)
printer?

From what I gather from discussions elsewhere on the internet, the
following is an old problem, but still not solved.
We run a shop with mostly Macs, and a Windows file server. Users write
their files to the server via SMB.

My daughter has an older PC and would like to make the switch to Mac.  I
naturally suggested a Mini.  It turns out she would have to buy an
adapter for her keyboard and mouse, and a USB hub, and probably a new
monitor because her old one is on its last legs.

We have a G4/733 without a DVD drive and would like to get Garage Band,
which comes on a DVD. Any suggestions on how we might accomplish this,
short of getting a DVD drive.
One possibility: we also have an iBook with a DVD drive. I understand,

Out of the blue, my HP DeskWriter will not print on my Bondi Blue iMac,
with OS9.2.2. At first it wouldn't show up in the Chooser, but I finally

Does anyone know what the true maximum RAM is that can be crammed into
these machines? Do these new 2GB chips work? Can I put 2 1GB chips in
for a total of 2GB? What's the story on this thing?

I upgraded to OS X 10.4 a couple of weeks ago. I am having a problem
with both Netscape and Safari.
When using my browser (either Netscape or Safari), it will occasionally
lose the ability to load a URL (Netscapes says "Resolving.....", Safari

Are there any USB connected sound "cards" that provide 5.1 sound
output? I'ld like to connect it up to a Powerbook...
