Mac OS X Tiger - ( v. 10.4 ) - media - $15?19 Sep 2005 07:39 GMT5
If it looks too good to be true, the likelihood is that it's not true. I
assume this $14.99 price for Mac OS X Tiger v. 10.4 doesn't get me what
I think it does (or what I don't think it does). What does it buy?

iMac19 Sep 2005 06:36 GMT1
Hello, I want to buy an iMac, but I do not know if I can get some
problems with it? I have alway used a PC (just for Internet and MS
Word) and I want to find out if it is perhaps a little bit unpractical
to buy a Macintosh in country (Denmark) where everbody uses PC?

I recently partitioned my disk in order to install Gentoo LInux. I have
now decided that I don't want Linux and have deleted its partition
using the program mac-fdisk from the Gentoo installer cd.

Canon S520 with Panther18 Sep 2005 17:04 GMT1
Our office has a single Canon S520 shared via a WinXP server. I am the
only Mac user there. It seems that OS X 10.3 does not have a S50
driver. I have tried using the S450 and S4500 drivers, but they print
out strange.

Tiger: Get Info -> Open With -> Change All... -> Bug? Feature?17 Sep 2005 22:44 GMT6
I have a command line app which produces PostScript output (I usually name
such documents with .ps extension). Preview tries to convert it to pdf but
usually screws it up. I have much better success with MacGhostView's utility
app: macps2pdf.
