The iMAc 500 Indigo that our mini NGO uses currently runs on 0S 10.2.8. We recieved some stuff from one of our benefactors to communicate with the children we care for. Unfortunately it seems to accept only OS 10.3 or higher.

I've got an old 250GB Internal IDE Quantum ProDrive (Apple branded) from a 68K Mac. There is data on this drive that I want to retrieve. But I can't get the drive to mount in a PowerMac running OS 8.6. The drive was working fine in the 68K Mac.

I understand the iPod nano will sync via USB 1.1, but is there anyone using a nano with a known USB 1.1 connection who can say from experience whether it will recharge or not via that port? If you can, can you say which Mac and which port you used with the nano?

I popped in the Tiger install disc but there doesn't seem to be a way to install only the widgets off it. Has anyone else reinstalled only their widgets?

Running 10.3.8 on a G5. In data mode the Appleworks will freeze up for 10-12 seconds almost every time I imput new data. The multi colored ball just sits and spins. Someone suggested dragging the preferences to the trash. I did that
