Is there some way I can keep the desktop icons for my hard drives from
wandering around? I put them in the upper left corner and the next time I
boot up they're somewhere else. Even if I carefully remove all other icons
from the corner, Panther somehow decides to put them somewhere ...

I have iPhoto, v 2.0.1. I need to store a lot of photo files in order to
begin cataloguing using iView.
My question is, what is the file capacity of my version of iPhoto?

1) I saw a post that said to use Firefox rather than Safari with OS
10.2.8, which I am doing. I recently went back to Safari, and some of
the (static) graphics weren't right. Has anyone else experienced this.
Because of this, I would agree with this recommendation.

As I explain in another thread I wiped out my os and can only locate
the 10.3 cds, not the 10.3->10.4 upgrade that came separately. I am
still looking for the upgrade cd's, both inside my own home as well as
from anybody else.

I'm starting work on a résumé in Microsoft Word, and am wondering what
Windows system fonts there are. I know Arial is one, but I don't like
how it appears onscreen. Isn't Verdana a Windows system font? I just
want to make sure when my résumé is opened on a PC that the font I use

I recently bought a used Mac mini from a friend. He told me to wipe his
drive to delete his private information before I install Tiger from a
legal upgrade DVD I purchased. The Mac Mini had Panther.

My new G5 iMac came without Classic, and I need it to run a game I want to
install.  
Is it an easy process to install, or are there possible problems?  I am a Mac
newbie and appreciate any help.

I'm going to upgrade the hard drive on my emac, but I'm not sure which
hard drive I should get.  I am also a little confused about the
difference between ata and sata hard drives.
my emac is a 1.42GHz model, and currently has a 80GB Ultra ATA drive

When I go to bugreport.apple.com, login using my ADC membership, and try
and report a bug with the following values:

Is there a way to delete a song from your computer through iTunes? It
seems when I click DEL, it just removes it from iTunes but not from my
PC.  I have a lot of dups I want to delete so I don't want ot have to
go back to the OS to do it.

I just bought my daughter an iSight camera so we could video chat while
she's away at college. I didn't buy one for myself because I own a JVC
MiniDV firewire video camera. About six months ago I tried to see if I
could chat with her with me using a video camera, so she could see ...

I've just purchased an Epson DX3850 printer.  I don't think it's the world's
best piece of hardware, but i do need an OCR that works with a free office
Suite.
