i'm using messenger for mac, and the contact display pictures for
those users using windows live messenger will not show up.
this has been posted about extensively in this newsgroup but no one
has any solutions or workarounds... any ideas?

I have a T-Mobile USB Modem dongle and whenever I try to use RDC on T-Mobile in the UK RDC fails to connect.
I am using Cisco as the VPN and that seems to connect fine.
