I'm working on the same G3 computer with OS 8.6 running that I'm
working on in the previous thread.
Also, I dl'd the owners manual and see that it has a built in mike,
but the setting in the pull tab along the bottom was Mike - None.

I had the iCab browser working for a few minutes and then I had to go
out.
Then it wouldn't work at all.

A friend has a Mac Powerbook G3 with 8.7 installed.
He also has a Mac desk computer but doesn't know too much about the
internals.  I know less.
For the Powerbook, I think his browser won't handle a lot of webpages

I'm using a Microsoft Presenter 8000 Bluetooth mouse on my Macbook Pro
running Leopard (10.5.1). I use the Microsoft Intellimouse software so
I can map my side buttons and because I can't stand OS X's mouse
acceleration with an actual mouse. I have the mouse tracking speed

I was going to download Remote Desktop Beta 2 today, but it expires on March 31st (one week from when I am typing this). Does anyone know if there is a new version coming out before the 31st?

My company set up a mandatory screensaver/ctrl-alt-del/passwd policy on all
windows boxes, so if I don't touch my rdc screen for eleven minutes, it goes
into screensaver mode... and I don't know how to get out of it.

Ever since I upgraded my wifes Mac to the new X os, I am unable to access my
shared folders on my XP system. Not only will it not let me see the folders,

I have some database programs that I am trying to open with my new computer
whisch has the home student edition on it.  I've never used excel before.  Am
I able to open these programs with any of them.

How can I make a RDP connection to another computer and use/recognize the

This may be something anomalous with my system -- I haven't seen this issue posted elsewhere. About every other time I open RDC Beta2, the application "thinks" my caps lock is on (even though it is not). If I quit RDC and restart, this usually sets things right. Has anyone else ...

Microsoft have announced that next release will be in the April to May
timeframe so in the meantime select 'Continue using beta' option it
works with no problems.
