I'm trying to join a few iMacs (intel, brand new, OSX 10.4.1) to an active directory environment. I've scoured for instructions about how to do so and despite all my efforst I continue to get "An unknown error occurred" after about 20 minutes of the spinning beach umbrella.

I'm a new mac user. I got a the small mac book for starters. I thought I had to download the mac os cd's that came with the LT and now I can't get it to stop. It keeps asking me to install disc 2 and when I do it says there was an error and it wants me to start over.

My messenger seems to keep logging me off everytime I stop using it for 10 minutes or so. Does anyone know how I could stop it doing that? Its getting rather annoying. (I got the newest version of Mac Messenger)

I get the error message "NSURLErrorDomain -1005" when I try to connect to certain pages of a certain website. The page simply won't load. It is then impossible to perform operations such as send messages from that site, or update my profile.
