For some time now i have been having to log in twice when i start
messenger.  I did wonder when i downloaded the new version last night
if this might cure it, but it hasn't.

I've changed my email adress and don't know how to configure Messenger
so that everything (contacts, settings, etc.) remains as it was except
for the new adress. I would also like to know how I can tell all my
contacts about the adress change.

i have installed msn 6.01 on my new mac about 6 times now and i can say
this has got to be a waste of time.
my account works fine on a pc, same login. other accounts work on my
mac no problem.

About a week ago my messenger (5.1.1. at the time) stopped playing any
sounds for contacts logging in, new messages, etc.  I deleted that
version and updated to the new 6.0.1, still no alerts.  Anyone know how
to fix this?  I'm missing all kinds of important messages unless I am

everytime i sign-in to mac messenger, i get an incorrect password
sign-in failed notice. but logging in a second time always works. is
there an easy way to fix this glitch?

I'm on 6.0.1 now, for mac.
but when I sign in on mac my MSN name is not the same as my MSN name
from windows. It used to sync up but now it doesn't
why not?

I just updated my messenger (because that is my only choice) and when I
went to respond to another person on line it was like I was typing in
some other language.  I hit the L key and it's another letter.  What is
going on?

I know that you are really busy but my msn has been not working for 4
days now. My hotmail works and msn account works on my roommate's
windows computer. This also happened less than a month ago for about 2

I am trying to connec to MAC computer OS X to a windows XP workstation on a
network.  The workstation has a shared printer attached to it.  When I go to
Prtinter setup and using the Default Browser setup window, I can see the
computer on the network, however, when I double click ...

I finally got in by using the Limited Account route. Started adding
contacts (6 Yahoo, 1 Hotmail).
Each one, as I added them, showed as OFFLINE.
However, when I alt-tab over to Yahoo IM, they're all ONLINE.

Most of the time when I copy something with Ctrl-C, RDC freezes for
about 10 seconds. This is quite annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix?

I put some new memory in my iMAC (in the main slot - center - 333 mhz - an
old one). I broke the little plastic clasps on each side that secures the
memory. If you're familiar with this, after breaking the clasps, the memory
doesn't clamp down as it should. So I got some very thin ...
