I just updated my microsoft messenger, and now all of my contacts are
offline, even though I know they are actually online. Any suggestions
on what I can do to fix this?

HELP I have down loaded the new msn for mac, but I am offline and cant
see my friends I have tried and tired deleting all my  MSN files but it
just doesnt work I have checked my firewall is open to use msn but
nothing I know that there are friends online as when I login under web

I'm trying to use a drawing package that uses DirectX via remote
desktop.
When I connect from a PC using mstsc, I can use the app no problem.
However when I connect from my mac, the application gives an error

I am in a university network and there is a firewall. My friends who
use MSN Messenger on XP have no problem. I am working on Tiger and I
cannot connect.
I think that perhaps Messenger for Mac is not using the same port

how do you video chat (or can you?) with an isight camera and msn for
mac?  thanks!

I keep getting this error on G5 workstation.  When the user use the
Entourage, this comes up:
Unable to establish a secure connection to sbserver.daggerwinggroup.lan

After being forced to upgrade form Messenger 5 to 6.0.1, I was not
being able to login at all, it will say "Signing In..." but then after
that, it will just go back to the sign in window.  I've read that if
you delete the two preference files, it should fix it... but it doesn't

I tried opening Messenger, it made me upgrade. It downloaded a .bin
file and then Stuffit wouldn't open it because it said, "The file
'Messenger.bin' does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is
advised that you obtain further information about the contents of this

Can I setup my Messenger for MAC so the windows does NOT pop up every
time I get a message.  I would like it to blink or something like the
Windows version......HELP

I just switched from a PC laptop to a MacBook Pro.  I am trying to
access my Small Business Server 2003 via the internet (not on  LAN)
using RDC, but get a message that "The Client cannot connect to the
Remote Computer.  Either remote connections are not enabled ....."  I

i have a mac with msn messenger. my friend has a webcam and she said i
could see her even though i didn't have a cam. msn messenegr told me i
dodn't have the latest version, but i did (according to the mseenger
for mac page). the link fo the update was g.msn.com/5meen_us/122. but

I've updated to Mac Messenger 6.0.1, and now most (but not all) of my
saved conversations from my previous version of Messenger are missing
or inaccessible; I can't see them when I go to 'conversation history'
from within Messenger.
