I have downloaded 6.0 and have tried this with previous versions as
well. I am creating an SSH tunnel to forward port 5060 to my LCS server
at work. The tunnel listens on localhost (127.0.0.1) on port 5060. When
I configure Messenger to point to either localhost or 127.0.0.1 it

When I try to download the RDC file from the page below, as a .bin, the
file I get is actually a demo version of Excel! And the .hqx file i not
recognized by my Mac.

My daughter has lost her password to her laptop, which has been complicated
by the fact that she has changed it several times and never wrote it down.  
I've looked over many of the responses about "lost passwords", but none seem
applicable to our unique problem.

Hi, all the mac users cant login after our IT group upgraded the LCS
version last weekend (im not sure the exact version). We are all using
"Microsoft Messenger for Mac version 5.1.1 or 6 on Tiger. It worked

My girlfriend started experiencing problems with a 5.x version on her

After upgrading to version 6 of MSN Messenger I can no longer sign in.
I don't even get an error message – just goes straight back to the sign
in button in the main window.
I know for a fact that my details are correct and I am able to sign in

new account at Passport Services. Sure can't figure out what's wrong with my
first account. I could log in via Web at Passport Services and was
immediately taken to MSN Account Services. Dunno what that ...

I can't seem to log into my msn messenger. It worked fine up until
about lunch time and I coudln't sign in anymore. It pops up that I have
the worng password or that my sign in name is wrong but I can sign into
my hotmail with the same name and password. How is it that it works for
